- 64k Windows Seen As FR-019 by wiCkeDz
- Well done!
It is very good as a first demo attempt, on the technical side at least. Since the goal was not to create something new, I do not see a problem that this is a very good copy of fr-019.
I am a bit surprised about the strong negative reactions here really... But I suppose some people managed to misunderstand the product.

- 64k Windows The Prophecy - Project Nemesis by Conspiracy [web]
- - Very good textures
- Good models
- ok music (some good and some bad parts)
- not so good softsynth
- runs rather slow sometimes
- Well done, but rather boring design
As a counterpart of Genesis, it has similar strengths and weaknesses. I hope to see "A place called Earth" or "Beneath" someday. - isokadded on the 2004-09-14 20:34:20
- liveact Windows live @ norberg 2004 by $
- Unique, just like many other $ productions.
I wish there was a greater variety of demo styles in general, so something as different as this would not be an exception.
Btw, why Mpeg and not DIVX? And Winamp crashed after 24 seconds... - rulezadded on the 2004-09-12 20:05:14
- demo Windows hwr2 by kosmoplovci [web]
- I think it is supposed to click. There are some very interesting effects like instant delay changes. The music is very well done!
The visuals are rather disappointing though. - isokadded on the 2004-09-11 00:24:00
- demo Windows MOPED by Mayoneez And The Boys [web]
- It is refreshing to see something so different design- and musicwise.

- diskmag Windows Hugi #29 - The Blue One by Hugi [web]
- This is the first diskmag I took a look at, and I think some articles are good.
The "deadlines kill the scene" article sounds somewhat silly to me, but "art vs. technology" is an important issue even though most newer demos seem to already be about art. The fictional and non-fictional stories are nice, and so is Optimus' text about himself as well as other parts.
And, yes, I think diskmags are outdated in a way that in a few years everyone will have a broadband flatrate, so they should atleast ALSO be avaiable as HTML online. That way they are more accessible and commenting becomes easier. - isokadded on the 2004-08-12 17:30:18

- demo Windows I Feel Like a Computer by Melon [web]
- Very original design! The music fits very well, it would have been hard to it better without using non-scener-music.

- 64k Windows Point Blank by Stockholm Syndrome [web]
- Good music, too bad some visuals do not sufficiently support the athmosphere it is supposed to create.
The skyscraper scene looks very good but is definetely too slow and looks bad without antialiasing.
The factory scenes are also good, technically. - isokadded on the 2004-07-28 17:42:18
