Photon: The ZX81 community has always been very active in developing new HW. One of my goals was to support some of that new HW, since lack of SW makes for dull HW.
There were UDG add-on boards available during the heyday of the ZX81, so the functionality is not exactly new.
Most people who have bought the UDG4ZXpand will be able to run this demo, but I have no sales figures for that.
The real challenge in this demo was to make a decent encoder within the limits set by the HW setup, the player was a much simpler part. - isokadded on the 2018-03-31 09:14:11
