Music is not good as it must be. And there is some sound problems at the end of the intro which i don't know that is my problem or it's a general problem in intro that should be fixed. The end scene is not good but nice intro at all and nice for a firstie.
the music does not fit the visuals/concept imho. but it looks decent. nice mountains in the first scenes. the end is a bit strange. but overall motivational thumbs instead of a piggie for a firstie. and welcome to the playground :)
Yeah it does bug out on ATI, the rover is a single color etc.
Feels more of a puffy 4k/8k than a 64k, ends a bit too soon, the soundtrack is musically nice but doesn't have a 64k sound to it, and serious DOF misuse - but it's a great start for a newcomer :)

I tend to agree with gargaj. Technically there are a lot of good bits here--like the individual rocks scattered around the ground--but overall certainly not exploited to their full potential. There's a lot to improve with camera work and editing though, as for an example this doesn't convey the proper size of the features at all which makes everything look very artificial. The music is good (or at least decent enough) but the synth definitely doesn't sound very high quality, or maybe again its features were just under utilized. In any case you've taken the first hurdle now, this is where it from now on gets really fun :)
Awesome first prod. Welcome to the scene guys <3
Nice one
Awesome firstie, well done boys!
nice
Like everybody said, the music is behind the code...
...this time! Hope to see more productions of you ;)

I really like your first intro :) Good job!
kewl
Nice! Some sounds are good, as in "could be passable in non-intro music", but others are like from a mediocre 4k intro.
For your next intro, try to accept only good sounds that don't need size pity compensation. Only keep the good stuff, and try to make it seem like it was an artistic decision to only use that, not because you couldn't do better. Nobody needs to know what you couldn't make to work. :) I think the same method applies to all categories and platforms. Play with your strengths, not your weaknesses.

cute
Really good for a first prod!
Solid prod. Really like the camera movement and audio fx at the end.
Really promising first release! There's a crapload of work leading up to the first release in this category, and as others already pointed out, there's of course a lot of potential for improving in future productions.
Visually, there's some really nice ideas, and you actually managed to put everything you had to very good use.
In the sound department, there's also quite a lot of potential and equally many things that can be improved in the time to come. Yzi has a very good point in saying that you should work a bit on creating instruments. I don't know how many features your synth has as of this prod. Some of it sounds almost like 4k composition, where either generated patterns are gradually turned on or very simple patterns are introduced on top of one another. If the synth doesn't yet allow for very complex instruments, you'll have to focus more on composition to make the soundtrack a bit more interesting. Sometimes, less can be more, and never fear silence either. Adding too much will create a wall of sound, that - if your synth doesn't offer advanced mixing/compression - will result in a muddy mess where parts doesn't appear distinctive from one another.
Overall, it's fantastic to see yet another competitor in this category, and I'm sure that there'll be fantastic productions from your hands in the future, if you manage to improve with each production you release.
So no doubt about the thumb up - and it's not only for motivation but also for the amount of work I know you've undertaken to reach this point where you could release this.

Well done, guys. Can't wait to see more stuff from you.

very good start, and it is 47kb intro ;)
btw is it Werkkzeug? I can see "MZfarbrauschPE" in the binary's header, what did you use to make the music, Renoise with v2 vsti? (you can answer in bbs thread, I am really curious how the intro was done)

nah that's kkrunchy; if you don't see that in a 64k intro that usually means someone hacked it :)
The Sun looks more like an egg than a sphere, but I like the rest :)
4k music but Nasa-quality prod!
pretty decent for a firstie, keep it up!
Not bad.
Reminds me of old stuff by BrainControl... nothing new for 2017 but well packaged.
i found the music very, very bad
visuals were good, it had some great ideas along the way, i wish to see more by monad

Very impressive first release if you take into account what it says in the nfo.
Well done!
Well done!
Thanks Ferris & CPDT for some insight in the creation of this demo.

Good job guys!
Nice to see you are mixing multiple techniques together. It seems to have a little bit in common with my 8k (just for marching the rover in a bounding box, as I know rocks are done differently). At the end, you could go full polygonal, but I guess you wanted a little bit more flexibility for dynamic rover geometry generation e.g. for dynamic suspension (?)
Anyway, great release - and not just because it's the first one.

No dice on ATI indeed. Still thumbs up for a very decent first prod!
really decent for the first prod. somehow the story made the 2,5 minutes still seem quite long. maybe more interesting story / content next time? :)
Very nice Tron feeling. Looking forward to more!
ok for a firstie
Really nice firstie, love the beginning and the rest isn't bad either. Sound could be better though. :)
Good 64k firstie. Music is meh though.
Insta-thumb for telling a story (apparently heavily borrowed from Gaia Machina, but that's a good thing). Needs work on the visual and especially audio side, but it's got an idea that it executes on with nice camera, doesn't get distracted -- in short, it's got direction, and that's not easy to come by. Keep it up!
Nice firstie.

Forgot to thumb this up first 64k by cpdt

It's been a fun adventure, and while I definitely think there are many things that can be improved in this that we weren't able to look at in time (some of the post-processing effects, the instruments and mixing, etc), I'm still very happy with it overall. Hope you enjoy!
P.S Probably nvidia only, haven't had the chance to test on ATI at all -- if you can help with this let me know and I'd be happy to look at fixing it :)
