- There is at least one reason to release this little bug - we have an important message to spread: the date of the demoparty (little hint - you can come and beat us at our game).
Following current worldwide events, such an announcement itself poses a challenge. - isokadded on the 2020-03-10 22:28:00

Technical graphics details:
720x576 hires pixels, 15 colors for main picture. Up to 22 colors per scanline, there can be easily more of them. Try that on your VGA cards guys! ;p - isokadded on the 2018-05-20 13:18:59

- @rloaderror: yes, via negative bitplane modulo.
On the technical side - copper is also used to set up background bars. There was a small challenge with crossing the rasterline 256, as with 4 bitplane hires overscan (ddfstop=$d8) copper never reaches position $ddfd. DMA is just too busy fetching bitplane data to give a copper free slot. So there is a quick switch in line 255 to ddfstop=$d0 just to recover value to $d8 in the line 256. This way copper wait works as expected. Run an exe and you'll spot a small thing out there ;)
Also, for tech-savvies, vertical bars are composed of DMAless sprites (sprite dma disabled, SPRxDAT loaded).
Anyway, thanks for nice feedback everybody! - isokadded on the 2017-09-11 12:36:37
