• On my machine, after installing libopenmpt that was missing, this starts but immediately segfaults (no window or anything). gdb says it's in ../paralleldacrt/main2.cpp:1960.
  
  Motivational thumb anyway - I saw what this could have been; keep up the good work! Maybe iron out at least the starfield bug(s) and do a v2 release?

• Yay, lovely! I've wanted to make something like this for some months now, mostly because I've also been working with IRL wood recently. Also, your jokes are the best, as usual <3
  
  The textures here look really authentic but the shading is kind of flat compared to high-quality furniture - this looks more like my cheap laminate flooring with some dust on it. After subsurf scattering and some complex grain, maybe apply a random layer of shellac too for some real depth and svbrdf emphasis?

• Not the first time you gave me these Kubricky shivers. Perhaps in a repetitive way, but I loved this.
  
  The cinematic black is really fitting, but it does have the downside of leaving the viewer waiting for something big that wasn't there.

• I'm with noby: the lovely Pekka is loud and clear and magnificent. Always doing something a bit unusual, yet ends up fitting so well.

• As urs keeps saying, well made postprocess fx/filtering makes such a difference. I seriously had to look away from the big screen instinctively because the sun looked so bright, brighter than a full white screen. That bloom and not so subtle loss of contrast make it seem very much like the real thing.

• (Just had to break my lurking status and write my first comment ever.) I absolutely love everything about this and hate that this is stuck in my head going on and on, in a positively irritating way. This is so uncommon and plain silly and I could even imagine myself making something near identical, with a few more of those glitch ideas.
