- demo Windows Narcoleptic Insomnia by Boozing Kupoz
- Pretty nice code, gfx and music, but nothing really stands out. The tunnel scene was rather moody. Piggie for the random texts, sooo 1998 :)

- demo Linux Windows obsoleet by Unreal Voodoo [web]
- Lame idea (I second arneweisse on this), but quality-wise carried out professionally.
I wonder who voted this #1 though... some possible candidates have been discussed, but I'd also bet a group of young gamers/sceners trying to act older and/or "leet" by pretending nostalgy towards old machines. - isokadded on the 2004-08-10 09:10:59
- demo ZX Spectrum Fuck You Scene by skrju [web]
- I haven't seen it, but the name is totally worth of thumbs :)

- demo Windows Still Sucking Nature by Federation Against Nature [web]
- loaderror: I think the church organ scenery and music were very nice and original.
Why should they copy the majority of demos with weird-ass ambient music and fashion scenes? I like design, but if design means copying mainstream bullshit then... DOH.
Or then I just don't watch enough demos to know what the real trends are. Doesn't change the fact that this thing is one of the coolest prods I've seen. - isokadded on the 2003-12-15 11:36:07
- demo Windows Still Sucking Nature by Federation Against Nature [web]
- Unbelievable. Extremely fast on my XP1700+ considering the amount of computation being done. Not only is the code fast, it's also rather groundbreaking, as I don't remember seeing scenes this complex being raytraced in realtime (in any demo!). Definite thumbs up for the true coding spirit, with very good graphics as well.

- 256b MS-Dos tube by 3SC [web]
- This one is great for its size optimizing, but it's sad to see the demoscene being about 1988 effects in weird formats.

- 128b MS-Dos 128b parallax starfield
- It's pretty nice. But please don't post each new smaller version to pouet.net. (yes, I'm damn bitter you dropped our prod from the latest prods list! :)

- cracktro Windows Tsrh Cracktro 1 by CoolPHat [web]
- Sorry for the broken link people, it's now fixed. All the blame on the slow code is on me, so keep on flaming =) The version behind the fixed link has vastly quicker poisson solvers, though.

- demo Windows Dream Equation by Floppy
- The effects were nice, but not mind-blowing I'd say. (Unfortunately I don't know what the difficulties in solving Schrodinger's equation numerically are, though.) Still, the way it was put (lots of different views from single effects, nice synchronization) was absolutely great for a coderprod. All in all it showed very good taste.
The screens in the "explaining section" were shown for too little times, it's really quite impossible to read the texts completely. - rulezadded on the 2003-12-07 00:58:19
- demo Windows Legomania by Doomsday
- The musics are awesome, the graphics are awesome. There's clearly a hell lot of work put on the production by the graphician and the musician.
But I would hardly call it a demo, though. It's mostly one huge animation with only minority of code (effect puzzle and rubik's cube were pretty cool).
The lego theme is overused, but this time it was pull out exceptionally well. Combined with the matrix theme, however, I feel forced to actually thumb this production down. I'm really sorry guys. - sucksadded on the 2003-08-30 05:02:15
