• Maybe it's because I was falling asleep while I watched this on the live stream, and for that it bypassed any kind of critical thinking and affected me directly, as things tend to do in that mood—but the experience of watching and listening to this demo was moving and wonderful. I felt almost that I was seeing into some other universe, exploring it, delighted by it: a place where all matter is intelligent and communicates through form and music. And if it does communicate, then what is the message? The spirits playfully flaunt their considerable power, but they also express a soothing kindness and benevolence: by this combination I felt oddly safe and protected, yet curious and thoughtful. I felt that I wanted to ask the dragon questions, and to sit with and learn from the Buddha, but I knew that they could never speak, at least not in words. When at last I saw the alien, I knew that this must not be my world, but his—some world of the future that makes sense only to him—and that someone like me could never stay.

• I saw this again recently at @party Minidemo Montréal and, though I've seen it so many times already, I still get a certain chill down my spine when I see hund ripping apart the city streets.
