- demo demopack Atari ST ST Connexion Unreleased Demoscreens by ST Connexion
- Quote:
Official compilation provided by ST Connexion.
Features effects and screens made between 1988 and 1990. Most were supposed to be included in the never released Dream Demo.
Some really cool things for the time.

was soon followed by a full 10 pages explanation + source code in ST Magazine ;)
ambiguous comment, apologize to Equinox because their release was before the full 10 pages in ST Magazine
and personal comment and greetings to Checksum (their main soundtracker coder), if i remind it correctly, Checksum achieve a true TFMX player on Atari ST (or STe) when i stopped my work after being able to play the only madmax tfmx title which contains only samples
regards to Checksum too !!! - isokadded on the 2018-01-06 03:01:28

Good memories of that one :)
Was soon followed (or was it before ?) by the equivalent sound tracker intro by Equinox. (but Equinox one had a great vectorball scroller intro with Giana musics :) )

- demo Atari ST TFMX by ST Connexion

TFMX was an Amiga Format. This is the only Atari ST player that played a tune in that format. If I recall correctly, the full version to play any TFMX track was never released because Marlon got a contract to write the Soundtracker used in the HMS Soundtracker.
my dear friend ))))
you were right about the contract but this was not the real issue
every VBL, i was loosing some samples (5/6 maybe more) and at 16khz, loosing 5/6 samples on each 313 to play was a disaster... sounding like shhh-shhh... i got the basics, but at that time, i did not realize how easy i could have fixed it (just count and trace where in the 313 vbl lines i was loosing few of them)
if i remind it correctly, it was my main issue with my "main menu" attempt for dream demo... full screen was ok, hard scroll was ok too (thank you my friend for both of these so cool technics)... i was again loosing few sample sto play on each vbl... and we were getting a crappy sound
and we were all mad about good sound, not crappy ones.
we defined the standards of atari st "paula" emulation, not a crappy copy of it.
