- 64k Windows Return of the braineating metaballs by alien prophets [web]
- the music is hammer, especially for 64k
but for the the graphics, fewer, maybe only one tightly coupled scene would have been better imo - isokadded on the 2008-05-24 00:37:56

- 4k Linux experiment in randomness by Gatitos
- nice!
woody sounds / harmonic shifts / color variation make it quite friendly and comfortable for a while in "full focus mode".
but i think such a piece would work a lot better as a background, while doing something else. if i had a swimming pool i would run it underwater... hehe
(music: maybe it would have been nicer for the fm instrument to use a longer envelope, to make the whole a bit less choppy, just an idea, because i've spent almost the whole day with envs ;) - rulezadded on the 2008-05-12 00:24:34

- demo Windows Vox Dei by Traction [web]
- + great concept
+ superb music
+ clear style / abs(traction)
- not that clear connection between audio and visuals beyond the mood. why not keeping it minimal and generate the sound as well, right out of the same structure as the visuals? (splines/quads<->rhythm/frequency, just an idea)
0 interactive mode isn't part of the concept. but as i moved the cam it changed the experience a lot... in an interesting way!

- game Windows bd7007 by != [web]
- nice try. serveral rooms with different effects/objects/sounds and a cursor to explore the space. - that concept could work for an extended demo...
no complicated interaction involved. no real game. no goal beyond experience. you just have to find one of the exit triggers... so, temporal composition would still be possible.
...just an idea - rulezadded on the 2008-04-26 12:12:17
