• The music writes checks the visuals can't cash. The first minute or two are dull and rather unattractive. And the low-framerate Youtube capture only makes it worse.

• FWIW, it ran just fine on my 3070Ti with 8GB RAM. Full GPU usage (no major slowdown), and it "only" got up to 6.8 GB RAM usage. So don't get scared off by the nfo. :)

  The all-time top list is biased toward older prods, because Pouet usage was much higher well before this demo came out. But if you go back, say, 3000 days, it lands at #8. (behind, for some reason, MySQL Raytracer)

  FYI, in DOSBox-X and PCem, the low-freq "beat" sound is a regular PC speaker beep instead. You can "fix" this in DOSBox-X by adding the [speaker] config line "initial frequency = 0".

• Actual beginning, middle, and end, with sound design (kind of like a telephone ring or alarm clock at the start, followed by radio signals from another dimension, followed by buzz/static as darkness takes over). And the code looks so deceptively simple!
