  Thanks! Trixter gave me some tips and advices, including a segment override movsw quirk on 8086 that I wasn't aware of. I applied some fixes, should help with both issues - please test if it works indeed. Download link is the same.

  Thanks a lot for report! The problem is that XT class machines is kind of unobtainium here (super rare and worth a leg), and emulators don't do justice regarding actual hardware timings (tested in DosBox and SPCXT). Weirdly enough, I had reports it works properly on some below-286 machines. Timer interrupt isn't much slow, certainly should fit by itself. Maybe some issue with calling back the standard DOS timer handler (it calls it at normal 18 Hz rate). Will collect more data and look into this issue, to get it fixed eventually.

• Didn't like the theme, but it really shows up that it is possible to create the demo feel even with just a few changing low res pictures. Now I believe that 48K demos with beeper music are doable and could be enjoyable.
