- I guess when your tunes are this polished, you don't need a fancy interface.
However, all these tracks could be found on AMP. So *I* don't need plain text interface, as Hippoplayer does the job so much better. And with visualisation, info's etc.
I guess if you're using anything other than a REAL AMIGA, this is an easy way to hear all there tracks as they are supposed to sound. PC-MOD players ALWAYS stuff it up.
This narrowly avoids getting a thumb-down. - isokadded on the 2009-08-24 06:25:47

- Quote:Dude, your name's in there. Just before the scroller greets all the usual suspects. Maybe you should watch it again.
Say did you guys cast a special 'Your not invited' curse in the invite for me, Man I got depressed

- Self-voting? No! Well, apparently I had a hand in the design, although this is the first I heard of it. I don't think I could claim to have concieved frogger.
Quote:I can, Cubinator - DA, and he makes an apperance in some other DA prods too.Where have I seen that really, really low-res dancing guy before? I'm sure it was in some demo, but I can't remember which.

- demo Amiga AGA Experiment 2007 by Rave Network Overscan [web]
- If I didn't know any better I'd think this was running on 50Mhz 030 (or greater) with several Mb fastmem, technically brilliant. We need more vanilla A1200 demos like this.
Sweet visuals, hard and heavy music (samples from Ventolin by AFX?), I think I need to change my pants, 'coz I've ejaculated all over the ones I'm wearing. - rulezadded on the 2009-07-30 22:41:42
- demo Amiga AGA Plasma Hut by Focus Design [web]
- Visually it bored me a bit, but Virgill's tunes a killer.

- 1k Amiga OCS/ECS KaosBlok by Loonies [web]
- A 1k intro which ACTUALLY RUNS on both OCS & AGA machines is thumbworthy on its own. That it has a pleasing visual effect and crazy, noisy sound is a bonus.
Oh, and another thumb for using the full overscan.
I would make this the bootblock to all my AmigaDOS floppies, just be sure to kill the sound once it's booted.
Quote:It's not the same as the real thing. It just does not look right. The colours, the frame rate, the aspect ratio. ALL WRONG, that's why we insist on captures from real HW.What do you have against emulators?

- Quote:
Maybe it's fun, retro and so on, but if remove half of screen with all these words, and make effects for all the screen, its for sure will be better.
I liked the bit with the scrollers, and am probably not the only one. Remove that and you don't have the demo(intro) which I enjoyed so much anymore. It's all a question of personal taste. If I could give it another thumb up then I would. - isokadded on the 2009-04-07 05:35:29
