- Great quality! What is the resolution of the scalar field table? Did you use "sweeping" of sphere for the monster?
As for the name, I guess they called it "Sphere tracing" in GPU Gems 2 (Chapter: "The distance-mapping algorithm").
BTW White screen on Vista (until in XP-compatibility mode, guess you have to process win32 messges on Vista). - rulezadded on the 2008-07-27 02:45:38

- Great tool without any doubts! Always proving how lame I am at theory of information. I still get surprised by the increased packed size, while original size is decreased by 10-30 bytes of data or code (badly influencing surrounding context?). Also I sometimes get worse rates when I have more data_seg-s. More advices on dealing with this masterpiece would be highly appreciated 8)

- Fantastic!
Please, share the method! Is it per-pixel ray-tracing for implicit surfaces? Write a couple of words on that. That would be highly appreciated 8) - rulezadded on the 2007-09-24 14:43:17
- diskmag Windows ZINE #12 by Brainstorm [web] & BitFellas [web]
- Great content and questionable design. I couldn't read it even with low end PC settings (though my gf4200 ti thingy's got ps1.3 you know). I mean why don't you just shut down all the fx for this config, coz even when I managed to break through to needed articles there were horrible glitches and some overlay problems (e.g. zine in the center displayed on top of the text, so one can't read the text under it at all)
Anyways thanks for online version, coz reading your *.article without the images (e.g. for Bonzaj's article) is not as informative as it could be. Export to HTML or whatever would be a could soultion as well (I could only see it at work on 7900 and still can't say I enjoyed the oulook immensely). - rulezadded on the 2007-09-17 10:56:59

- Blame me, but I've not watched "Kin-Dza-Dza", though I've recognized the flying device from there.
This one and from UNC are a great step ahead. Love both. Great level of texture work.
Last scene is protracted, don't know why you needed that.
Thanks for saving Russian scene ;) - rulezadded on the 2007-08-26 21:49:33

- Hell yeah! That's what I've been waiting for so long - "Plasticator" to his full capacity! No fugly postprocess, hi-res textures, neat models, well fit colors and descent overall picture. A bit static and empty though, but very atmospheric.
UNC, you are wicked guy! - rulezadded on the 2007-08-26 21:45:16
- intro Windows Broken Hearts Day by Silent & San
- As for those who don't get the lyrics. It's somewhat concerning all the usual words about girl, love, being together and loosing it all (aka scene POOetry with tiny pieces of irony). Nothing special in each aspect can only be meaningful for the authors and for those to whom it is devoted.
PS Rakkautta! Merkytiksillinen. Nakakaka ;) - whatever - isokadded on the 2007-02-21 09:58:52
- diskmag Windows Incube #4 (rus/eng) by 7dUMP
- Need to read more attentively when get home, but seems to be nice (though somewhat mus-centric). As for English it seems to need some proof reading (think I could help) and f0x's article needs to be translated too (I could also provide some help) - I also had some ideas concerning gpu usage for this stuff.
Demo review was somewhat gibberish (omg: reviewing demos one couldn't run!?).
PS Also expected support for mouse wheel to rotate the faces of the cube. - rulezadded on the 2007-01-04 13:10:55
- 64k Windows Terra Incognita by Brain Control [web]
- The eternal story - decent engine, shitty art (espacially particle shots).
As for performance, I don't think you guys played with tunning it all around, trying to fit into ps1.1 and get acceptable FPS as AND did 3 years ago (which still looks much better than this).
Still UP for amount of work. Keep on doing better. - rulezadded on the 2006-12-29 10:24:15

- He-he, really nice poem-wannabe (a bit protract) and stragne filter kernel. Anyways there's a kind of soul in it.
