- demo MS-Dos Hurtless by The FLamoots And The Dark Vision [web]
- Unfortunately it doesn't work in DosBox and I didn't achieve to patch it to run under the emulator. The demo is SVGA HiColor and uses some low level protected mode tricks that do not pass in the emulator.
For the 20th anniversary of our old demo I captured it from a real working MS-DOS SVGA/GUS machine. This is a little gift for the friends, old demosceners and old members of TFL-TDV who probably haven't seen the demo anymore in the 21th century ;-). - intro Windows DS Aqua by The FLamoots And The Dark Vision [web]
- paper, source code and download still available on codeproject after 14 years:
http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/1073/Interactive-water-effect
and still a lot of mobile apps are inspired by this old interactive OpenGL intro. I agree not great as an intro but inspiring as a code base ;-) and it was my original purpose back in time.

- demo MS-Dos Contrast by The FLamoots And The Dark Vision [web]
- The standard settings of DOSBox for realmode applications doesn't work well with this old demo.
Runs perfectly in DOSBox with some settings changed:
- core = dynamic
- cycles = 6000
- machine = vgaonly - isokadded on the 2015-08-09 00:21:15
- bbstro Gameboy Advance Kukoo 2 Advance by The FLamoots And The Dark Vision [web]
- In VisualBoyAdvance use skip frame = 0 otherwise it's really choppy and awful. I use also vsync on and the TV filter.

- in DOS Box use machine=vgaonly in your .conf otherwise emulation will not be correct. For safety I use also cycles=6000 and core=dynamic.

- demo Atari STe Thunderdome - The Demo - Making of and Lost scenes by Checkpoint [web]
- Great. I was happy to be there and see a kicking Atari ST production. Amigaaaaargh ;-). Tempting now to do some modern experiments on my good old STe. Anyway I'll test it on real hardware and Hi-Fi. Thanks to revive this platform ! Congrats.

- bbstro Gameboy Advance Kukoo 2 Advance by The FLamoots And The Dark Vision [web]
- I had no more time to add the Joepie intro ;-). It was already challenging to get back in my old x86-asm code and make some archeological research in my floppies to find the original resources This CGA part was really a big private joke ;-) ... and i replaced it with this Julia set calculation on GBA (while i'm precalculating some tables for the next part).
I would never imagine back in 1994 that so much people would still remember this little intro 21 years later ;-). So, thank you ! - isokadded on the 2015-08-02 21:58:11
- 32k bbstro MS-Dos Kukoo2 [Pleasure Access BBS (1)] by The FLamoots And The Dark Vision [web]
- Hi All. Thanks for your encouraging comments on my little old VGA intro.
Just to mention that I released an improved version ported to GameBoy Advance at the Evoke 2015 in Köln (it was "gift" for the 21 years of the former kukoo2 bbs intro). You can have a look at: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=66101
It runs on the real hardware if you have a homebrew SD card loader or in emulators such as Visual Boy Advance on PC or GBA lite on Android. I'll prepare a source code package in a short future. I just have to cleanup a bit my messy GBA code that uses tricks close to the ones I used back in time on 386/VGA. Enjoy !

- bbstro Gameboy Advance Kukoo 2 Advance by The FLamoots And The Dark Vision [web]
- Back from Evoke 2015. Had fun to port and improve to GBA my old VGA-PC intro "kukoo2" that was released in 1994 (http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=1444).
To use on real hardware (GBA/GBA SP/NDS) or Emulator (Visual Boy Advance with frame skip=0, vsync on). Unfortunately it seems it was presented on a different emulator during the Evoke 2015 Alternative compo causing choppy and ugly movements :-(. I should have checked with the organizers to see if everything was ok before... my mistake. A video was however submitted as a backup but it was not used. The intro runs perfectly smooth when using the correct settings on Visual Boy Advance and even better on the real hardware.
Enjoy. Type One / TFL-TDV - isokadded on the 2015-08-02 20:58:40
