- musicdisk MS-Dos EGG 2: Trancescrambled by Kosmic Free Music Foundation [web]
- this musicdisk was a big deal back in the day, and i viewed it as a significant accomplishment for the PC tracking scene. while a small number of stand-out tunes are here (such as those by basehead and krystall), the majority of tracks are rather dated sequences influenced by trance and industrial/ebm music of the early 1990s.

- demo Windows Rarefaction by Youth Uprising
- great effort! the visuals exhibited a great sense of motion that a lot of demos don't get right in my opinion. the music enhanced the intensity but had some problems. the drum sounds seem out of place with the rest of the audio, and the track seems excessively dramatic to me. some subtlety with the music could have made this stand out more.

- demo Windows Liquid... Wen? by Haujobb
- in the first half, i like the subtle music, the unique visuals, the smooth motion, and the syncing. do NOT press ESC yet.
the second part has a cool tunnel effect with translucent surfaces moving in opposite directions. the filtered synth sequence sounds awesome.
this demo really stands out. everything fits so well together, and the mood and style are consistent throughout. end of the line.
