Why did we always see same and same pouet logo's on homepage, while pouet logo directory contains tons of them ?

Even if some are not the best, it would be nice to something else sometimes.

Was there an "original" logo before the random ones?

i started out with willbe's hires version of it. pixellated it. shouldve just pixelled it from scratch i noticed when i was halfway.. kind of hacked an inbetweeny now... oh well :P

maybe they should recode a new logo voting system.

some old logos are really craps (including some of mines i did so many years ago), i'm bored to see them everyday.

1) reset logos

or

2) code a new (good) voting system please, so only like 100 bests are shown, or something

or

3) leave everything the way it is

i think there is a simple solution for that (without showing crappy logos to everyone). an option to choose between:

o Random pouet logos according to public votes
o Random pouet logos according to my votes

everybody is happy then...

I think It would be difficult to create the perfect algorithm to choose which logo to see (or which should have priority) because there is too many ways to do it and everybody will never be happy.

Maybe it would be more simple to show ALL logos, with same priority, no matter how much votes they received.

One exception : like /bin/bash said, some logos (only a few) are really crap (too small, too big etc) and maybe it would be better to never see them (logo that have received too much downvotes?).

Also : why should i spend time to create a new logo for pouet, if the chance to see it someday on homepage is almost zero ??
