This is what we need to do.

Have a gander and a goose at this
Have the demo Illusions by Aurora appear in the first page of google results, and the demoscene is undead (again).
Now, I'm a cynic about many things, but not about the demoscene, and I enjoy it immensely. But I want more people to enjoy it, and for that to happen, it needs to be found. Hope you see what I'm getting at.
No, I'm not making a demo about it. That's not what's needed. Go make a web page about it! Or a fucking Failbook entry about it, whatever it takes! ;)

Let's have a who's drujnk contest... I win!! I want a pony, and a baseball bta, amd a preety whore who can do tricks with her feet.
Ferris, that's just adorable.
Google aurora.mod and ... ooooh, that'll do nicely.
@photon Mmmyeas, some demoscene SEO wouldn't go amiss now and then :)

That's an old amiga demo I almost didn't know and has only 4 thumbs on Pouet.
...
why do more people need to enjoy the scene? can't people just come in the door and start enjoying it now? :)
Btw, Google's results vary from user to user depending on what they know about you (and even more so if you're logged in using a gmail/google apps account), so it might only give demoscene results to people already interested :)
Google to help in everything:-) Force ppl to love the scene.
Maybe...just maybe it's not about that they don't find the sceners,
but that they know to stay out because they don't appreciate that much what we do.
It is not that easy to understand from an outsider pov, imho.
Most my friends (even those that are long-time computer geeks from 80ies and not so dumbasses)
don't have any kinda clue what it's about.
If I mention them some 4k/64k thingy or stuff like that, many just say that they don't
care about the size and think it's "Optimizing" sort of stuff that we try to do and the next
sentence from them is "2TB hd costs 40euros these days".
The ppl who kinda get it, state they still like quality over any appreciation of exesize.
I think 9.9 out of ten click the scene link on irc cuz "it is awesome some crazy dude does that"
and read Assembly was held again from the news, but thats that for them.
Maybe it needs to be accepted that there aren't that many creator guys around
because consuming is easier these days and since you arent a creator you can't appreaciate
these things cuz can't get similar accomplishment+joy feelings by just watching, so
the scene gotta go for them.
Guess u need to have kinda "lived years" with this shit to appreciate it really
and it's also pretty much the coder/musician/artguy thing only.
That group of people who used to enjoy the technical details of bsp-trees 20 years ago
connecting to the carmack's finger still hangs around, but the people who
didn't back then, don't still see any *magic around these stuffs*.
But no worries underground is better all ways. People have more heart.
PS: the gmailtrick can help the Blenderscene to join tho...think about it 1mill blender users
supporting pouet's 300 users wit their presence, BBS full of questions how to use openfiledialog
and next where to get the meshes
