electro music tutorial
category: general [glöplog]
Did someone know any paper, tutorial, video or whatever, explaining the basic music pattern used in electronic music (like breakstep, house, ...).
when i talk about pattern i mean something describing the characteristics
eg : breakstep has bpm between 90 and 110, with
one bassdrum and one snare drum organised like this :
SD x...x...x...x...x
BD ..x...x...x...x..
...and so
i know music is about creativity but there is definitly some common charasteristics between same style will be nice to know them in order to understand how they are made and give idea when creating song

Why not make music instead of learning patterns for a certain genre?
