Looking for mentors and music donations!

One of the heart pieces of MountainBytes is its Demolab Workshop:
Participants get to create their first realtime scene, or other form of digital artwork surrounded by people that already walked the walk, can recommend tools and workflows.

Want to help them?

This is NOT a teaching role - their keyboard is lava to you. You are there to discuss, iterate and perhaps even introduce them to tools and sceners on- and offline that might be able to give them advise.
This is much more a role that is willing to learn along and try out new things - just as a good teacher should.

Here is what you would need to do and bring along:

  • Curiousity and some knowledge about (open and/or free) tools used in the demoscene
  • Speak English or German
  • On site during MountainBytes (remote support is however welcome)
  • Amicable and welcoming to new sceners

In turn, you will of course receive free entrance and non-alcoholic drinks for MountainBytes.

We are also looking for 30-second to 1-minute music!

Would you like to donate some of your slumbering music snippets for a good cause and help a new scener on their way?
Send them over to us, so we can share them with our participants for their first little production.
In principle, all formats are fine (availability might spark intrigue for a certain platform), mp3 are however usually most sought after.
