what in the world has happened to amp.dascene.net?
category: general [glöplog]
Just wonderin', like.
Went to grab a previous version of a song (apparently I only have a 3minute version of a song, shortened for an Assembly chiptunecompo anymore, was hoping Amp would have the actual version).. only to find that the search doesn't work, google-provided links to artist handle pages etc don't work, etc. Is amp.dascene.net disfunctional and gone or wot?

Probably some internal code problem they haven't noticed yet :)
It worked well a few months ago (can't remember exactly when was the last time I used this page).
Now it's totally unusable as distance pointed. The database is apparently not accesible.
Something is fucked.

HTTP server went crazy last Saturday. It was fixed in the evening, however.
Anybody still experiencing problem ?

OK, back to normal. please report misbehavior.
report... it's down since days.
Code:
[15:06:20] <mtronic> Minus256 amp is being moved to another server because of a small fire iirc. The amp server was fine but gonna take a while to get back to normal
Thanks for the info. :)
don't set your servers on fire, kids
it's up and working. Thanks to amp team!
An inet relay that fed our server was taken down by a fire - along with various electric wires. The offline period was a consequence of that. We did not change server but merely waited for electricity and inet services to come back to life.
So yes, it's back up. That's the good news :)
