Lackluster: Swansong Ep out now on Kahvi Collective (Kahvi#354)
category: music [glöplog]
Hi, 4T / Kahvi Collective released my final Netlabel release:
Lackluster: Swansong Ep.
Tracks
01. Preposterous
02. Shonuff Shoreditch
03. Filchingadayoff
04. Monomalism
05. Lifegoeson
06. Slippery Sensuality
07. Rowdy
Description
Since the very start of Kahvi, one artist has been an almost regular fixture releasing frequently throughout the years. Not only on Kahvi but also on many commercial labels, and touring the world with his unique live set.
Lackluster is a familiar name in electronic music circles and we're happy to feature his latest ep entitled Swansong.
There is a selection of older and newer tracks from Lackluster's extensive archive of tracks, minimal and subtle like in shonuff shoreditch to epic and loud in preposterous. Swansong is slightly more of the underground and glitchy side of Kahvi but still refreshing in it's outlook to clear away the cold winter months and welcome in the summer at last!

Enjoy in MP3/OGG format.s

Thanks!! Really nice to hear that people are finding them worth their while..
You can now easily stream it via LastFM too. :) hmm..
did you know that Pouet does not allow lastfm urls?
@distance: Some may find it Preposterous, but indeed Life Goes On, and persons should change as the times change. The one who does not change (hopefully for the better - evolving) definitely has issues and lacks personal/artistic development. So I welcome your decision to wrap up and close down one phase of your life, as you already have another phase (or phases) going on. And this manifested in your Swan Song EP's overall different tone, mood, and character from moniker Lackluster's early releases like ll150603, 07/10/99, 13/10/99, or bothersome (mother mix), except for the two tracks I referenced in my opening sentence and also Slippery Sensuality.
I gratefully celebrate your phase of being Lackluster and the 14 years I have been listening to your tunes with what I consider that moniker's/phase's best achievement, track 13/10/99, released in 2000 at netlabel .monotonik.

For progress, detachment is just as important as attachment. Farewell to Lackluster!
And now there is somebody new I should discover.

Kahvi are already looking for tracks for a 2015 V/A and demos for future EP/LP releases on Kahvi Collective. Kahvi aren't going anywhere.

why final?
Hi Nosfe, .. I finally got around to it, so here's the answer.
Because, over the past 15 years, I've released ~16hours of music for free - and if we add the live gigs, we're up to 44~ hours for free.
that's alright, right?
d=.=b
wysiwtf, i could open a kahvi mirror aswell =]
Guys, Kahvi is just on scene.org. I really doubt they'd fulfill a request (internal or external) to delete any of the Kahvi archive. I don't think you have to worry about it disappearing.

Kahvi is here to stay, for the time being. I hear they're taking part in the Netlabel day thing.
