I got an email with two attachments (Base64 encoded) and two links to the same files. My understanding was that the files are identical to the already released ones :)

No, not really. But I do think "buying" BITS demos (technically it's donating since the stuff is there for download anyway) should be the Veblen good of the scene, a status symbol that separates the elite from the lamer!

I bought some a few years back as well. I was whelmed.

you can always do a really good android demo, release it at a big party for raising interest, make a deal with the party organisation that they wont spread the apk and then charge 2 euros for it in the playstore. :)

why people so hate BITS ?
