Bit-fiddling/pattern recognition/abstract thinking etc. - all the qualities of a coder suits well to score high on most of the nonverbal IQ tests.

seriously: if i remember tUM last year, it looks like you're pretty alone. even if you are able to find a matching pair of words and know how to combine funny figures with other funny ones: does it really help you in making friends? having a well balanced life?
problem with all thos aspergerish guys like you out there: you will never run a successful business or have an awesome carreer. you know you could it from the technical POV, but you simply don't know how to handle people, work in teams or even simply be friendly. sad thing.

Correlation, yes. The real source of Adok's "YOU FAIL LOGIC FOREVER" is all the generalisations and logical fallacies he's piling on top of that statement, though: that all demosceners consider themselves superior to non-demosceners, that anyone who doesn't write demos is incapable of writing demos, that the demoscene concept of "eliteness" is directly related to your value as a human being, and so on.

I am lost a bit about who is supposed to be Asperger's and who is not. And what should an Aspie do with his life or not. There are aspies who are succesfull today in various disciplines and then there are those who live a simple life that are happy with. So much myths and disagreement even inside the AS communities. Like it should be one thing, succesfull or not :P
Another thing that amuses me is the notion of theory of mind. It's a good term but do neurotypicals (another stereotypical label but let's go on with this) have a better theory of mind, a better understanding of other people around than people with AS? If you are inside the majority it's obvious that you will have understanding of most minds since they are similar to yours. But so called NTs still can't understand or relate somehow to AS. They don't think of them as different persons they cannot understand but as pure assholes and they don't look further. Maybe they are only partially right (me playing devil's advocate) because some attitude might match this, but I only see a filtered theory of mind that doesn't work with AS. It all boils down to (and that amuses me :P) everyone is an asshole, it only matters where do you belong.
p.s. I just noticed that the initials of Asperger Syndrome Disorder is ASD :) Also, they are the three letters I press when I want to type something random like asdsaddassdasdaasd

To be honest, I also didn't find much use for it, with the notable exceptions of LED Blur and Creep Tea. Just thought I'd let you know!

The only reason is that I got too extatic about democoding and CPC. I also love my disk avatar I drew so many years ago when I was still a young guy. If I take democoding too seriously and loose my cool, I am gonna revisit Optimouse or something new and funny :)
My dingoo has a broken LCD now and I can only watch and play some native stuff with the Tv-Out. I still want to port some gp-benchmark I did as long as I have this output but that's it. I have seen they have start a new handheld Gemei A330. It's like the wiz in performance and I think it has a 3d accelerator too (I am not sure where I read it). I'll wait to see if the community catches up with this. The community loved dingoo and where quite active for it, that's why I initially bought it. It's also much cheaper than gameparks.

@Punqtured: To be honest, from now on, I certainly am. But I'd like to make it clear that I had no intentions of hurting Adok personally (on the long run), and if I knew him in real life I'd probably act a lot more civilized.
It's not our fault that we're different, that's just how it is, but I must admit I had the intention of increasing his horizons with my first few somewhat spiteful replies. My fault for being a bastard some times.
Still, I'd like to know what the hell this thread is about!
