Sundown 2014 - 20-22. June in Budleigh Salterton
category: parties [glöplog]
Another great Sundown party. Thanks to everyone involved!
Sorry I missed the prize-giving earlier today. My bodyclock thought it was 2011 and woke me up at sunrise, so I decided to hit the road early and avoid the traffic (and dolphin rape caves).
Thanks to Quadriga for the crisps. I managed to try a few different ones, and they were all really good :)

Thanks for a great party. Loved sitting outside and coding in the the shade, a bit of quality fish & chips, meeting all the great people and all the very tasty beer ;). Thanks especially to rc55, Zeb and all the other orga people for helping out and organising a solid party :).
I still maintain that dolphin rape caves is a utterly horrific thing :/.

I misread that as "dolphin rave capes". I don't know what they are, but I want to go to one of those raves now.
I was hoping to get a demo together however it never happened, so a parcel with Irish crisps was the least I could do.
I bet nobody noticed that the crisps contained magic pixie dust , you are all now under my control!

Had a great time just like I knew I would :)
Big up rc55 for making it happen, h0ffman & SaVannaH for the hospitality, the records, the shits and the giggles, Subi for playing with us, Psionice for the beer service, night bacon and being an all around stand up guy, Deathboy for the hilarious stories and the vodka, Ivan for the lift to Exeter, ne7 & DemoOrDie for being brilliant travel company, the girl who sang along to Blue Monday (you made my night, cheers!) and everyone else involved in organizing and showing up to make it a great party.
Fuckings to the suit case for not falling down.

Probably our most organised Sundown ever! Schedule was really tight this year with only a small delay here and there.
First I'd like to send apologies to Franz Koopa for the error during the playing of his Impulse Tracker remote entry. Seems plating .IT in XMPlay isn't the best or its some other issues when opening and resaving using OpenMPT? I haven't had a chance to try and get to the bottom of the issue yet but would like to try and avoid it in future.
Thanks to Dan B for sorting out the sound, Kris for network and his party meister work, lug00ber, SaVannaH, Subi, Akira and NE7 for their fantastic work on the performances. Thanks to Amiga Junglism for letting us use his Amiga for the tracked music compo. Thanks to Ivan (Zeb) for arranging the transport for all our party visitors and everything else. Thanks to Waffle for fixing party meister on Friday night so it actually worked. Thanks to CGI for projecting the 3LN wall and chat room above the big screen, really added to the atmosphere. All the beach party crew! and of course RC55 for having the balls to put the party on in the first place!
Apologies to everyone for my piss poor results ceremony, the new slides caught me off guard (and I still can't pronounce shit!).
Oh and also thanks to everyone who took part in the music quiz, Subi, Mary, NE7, DeathBoy and Tom Dagone. However, NONE of you guessed Cream of the Earth by Romeo Knight! Hang your heads in shame!!
Looking like we might in Germany next month, so if your at some demo party in the area, might bump into you again!.

What...? But... How...? er...what? *shudders in disbelief*
Anyway, is there a recording of the quiz? That sounds (yuck) awesome!
It took me a while, but I'm pretty certain I got CotE eventually. ^__^
Awesome party as ever, and the prize coaster is now on my desk here at work. Thanks to RC55 and everyone for it all! :)

I checked with him on IRC and I couldn't spot anything iffy when playing the file with XMPlay, apart from one "bug" that is actually a bug in Schism Tracker (XMPlay played it as intended, i.e. like Impulse Tracker). I'm not quite sure what you could have messed up there if you used the default MOD settings in XMPlay.

2nd fuckup? mwahaha!
is it sadomazohizm - to made error and apologise? ;)
More like common sense
I caught some of the party on the stream, mostly during the down time, but it seemed like a nice place. I know, silly sofa scener. I did catch prize giving and the NE7(?) mix show, though. Rather nice I have to say. :)

Buy a dictionary, you need it. Secondly, let it go already. Prove you can be a better man by moving on.by g0blinish:

I'm looking forward to g0blinish party 2014, where everyting will run smooth as fuck and not a single error will be made by the organizer!

lol. I'm still disabled, so the purpose of creating party is to borrow money:)
that's unfair.
btw, I like submission system for Chaos Construction and Multimatograf where is everything smooth as fuck (CC doesn't count).
really enjoyed the party, thanks to all the orgas for making it run so smoothly and apologies for headphone mixing my track *blush*

any idea when the rest of the compos, like gfx and photo entries will be uploaded to scene.org? Currently only the streaming music entries are on scene.org.
