I don't know why but I'm fascinated by old GUIs.
To all the (?) Commander clones out there - you could of course just use mc. The shizzle-est of the shizlest IMHO.
If you must have some grey and buttons and are stuck on windows, then q-dir is the file-manager for you.
For the more enlightened of you who still want to click rather than type, pcmanfm is your friend.

i had the same idea some years ago but with some 256b intro + some dos emulator. never had the time to implement it tough.
