i've always been uncle-x but i almost became 'entropy' (now how stupid is that?)

I've been using the nick "Traitor" just to release a small intro for Illi Recentes ImperatoreS (IRIS) and during the ~15 days i spent in this group (of course, i betrayed them in the end and now i'll betray "Moby" who's previous handle was in reality "Behemoth" !!!).
I used to call myself Mr Twist Laser.. hahha.. what a loser.. the memories

Gandalf: It wasn't any particular BBS, it was sort-of a usenet system spanning most "elite" European scene BBS:es. I think it was called DGI.

with a past like that I can clearly see why kb is goth today.
I actually have a past like that too. I was forced into playing the prince in 'Sleeping Beuaty and the 7 dwarfs' on a stage to an audience of 400 people or so. i was maybe 11 or 12 at the time and it was part of a choir performance - kinda musical style.
I had been in love with the girl that played the sleeping princess for quite some years. Needless to say, my performance was heart-breaking to the 400 people watching the act.
They made me wear a silly costume in green and red that made me look somewhat like a cross between Hamlet and Robin Hood. With bagtrousers and everything.
Only after the two scheduled screenings and one extra (the act became very popular in the small town I grew up in) did I start to realise the permanent scars this episode inflicted on my personality. The local newspaper of course had the picture of me and her dancing on the fucking front page after the premiere. I thought the costume, although it looked very glam, was very daft and felt like a laughing stock to the whole school. The girl also thought I was a nerd and a loser and hated me.
So the question being begged here is; why didn't I turn into a goth later in life like the good mr. Hinrichs here?
It seems we have somewhat similar experiences and such.
Truth is I was a little gothy for a while and I still retain some link to the synth culture where one can find many similar qualities to goth cultures. However I was lucky enough to have a 'big sister' (close family friend) that provided me with Bret Easton Ellis books.
In short, I was on the 70s glam whore scene for a while (in the mid 90s) until I, thank god for Mr. Ellis, turned into a downright cynic. I don't hate life or worship the gloomy, I simply don't care. I'm apathic to society, the only worth it has to me is as an object of study. From the outside!
My new plan is to become a popstar, get media attention, corrupt the youth and indulge in public cynicism in such a degree that people will be shocked. Naturally, this isn't any more meaningful to me than just about everything else, but perhaps; one day.. when I can go on a public goodwill tour to famished villages in Africa, look a starving child that asks me for food into the eye and say: "Find your own god damn food!" ... can I drive out my demons.
Meanwhile, I will make music for mobiles and demos. Thank you very much for the attention.

Heh, i played bodyguard of teh president in a schoolplay two times... it's all about seduction of the audience man... coz i really looked tough with sunglasses and a fake stubble *cough* :D
