oh yes, a doubt: what color is the se tshirt this year?
added on the 2005-04-25 13:27:53 by psenough psenough
The color has not been decided upon yet. The designs are currently under consideration, the result will be announced on the SE mailinglist.

I am pretty sure the default shirt isn't going to be black though. Perhaps we ought to feed you a lot of drugs and persuade you that moss green is the new black, hmm?

a good request shifter ...

i have bought the tshirt the last two years ... but i won't do it again if the quality of the shirt doesn't change... its has been quite poor if you compare it with the breakpoint shirts ...

so please announce if you will change the quality, then i will order one

Shifter: Puryx's email is the same as mine, and I think you need to resend that.

Also, moss green rules.

Also, XXL is needed.
still no plan for an ASM->SE trip? :(

Dwarf: hmm, unless there was a significant quality gap between the organizer and guest shirts, I'd sooner see a comparison with the Evoke or Buenzli shirts :)

Anyway, I hope the chat we had clarified a couple of things. While the ordering system won't change (pre-orders only, no shirts are sold at the infodesk), you will get early notice of the designs and they will look more to your liking. (Truck: XXL *is* available)

Gargaj: There was talk about it in some other thread, which would appear to cover both parties.

added on the 2005-04-26 09:11:42 by Shifter Shifter
i'm unsure if this was dwarf's point, but my SE04 shirt (the only party shirt i have, and it's much nicer than any other party shirt i've even seen sold) has been degrading quite quickly (i actually wear it). like, the ehh, part where your neck goes through became all ehh fluffy. pluizig. afgerafeld.

not complaing though, the thing ruled, was cheap and has proven its worth.

shifter: yes but that thread sank without any _useful_ idea :(
added on the 2005-04-26 10:14:24 by Gargaj Gargaj
skrebbel ... well the neck part i cant say anything about, but to me it seems quite fragile, it feels like you can rip it to pieces quite easily...

BUT i like the stitching, this is way cool

Gargaj: I heard something about a trip yes, from Jeenio. No I don't know any more. I will see what's up when I know my schedule more.

who from finland is coming to se? and more important, how? lets organize this now while flights are still relativly cheap shall we? O_o
added on the 2005-04-27 07:14:59 by psenough psenough
I will be going from Finland to SE. I believe UncleX had mentioned something. We should keep him in the loop. And I think Gargaj may have some interest.

I should just set up a mailing list or something but I don't have a server right now... will work on that and announce.
we need a bustrip from asm to se

Uhm... There is a SE mailing list, just in case nobody noticed :)

(And maybe the bustrip list from scene.nl might help out, provided the dutchies can stand your banter )

Why the heck arent more console / handhelds systems allowed in the demo compo? And why does it has to be 10 MB only?
added on the 2005-04-27 20:59:11 by freeze freeze
freeze, how did you get the idea *any* platform wasn't allowed in the demo compo at SE?
added on the 2005-04-27 22:31:40 by skrebbel skrebbel
First: I bought my ticket and shirt.
Second: I tried to subscribe to mailing list. I forgot the name of the list and didn't have the name or whatever. I know majordomo and sent of the 'list' command and it's got all the freaking default lists and no descriptions on the list.

So, in short:
Hey, if the majordomo dude would allow it - we could have a NEW list set up there, for ASM->SE->onward bustrip.

And also it would be nice if there was a description put on the list I'm supposed to join for general info.

And maybe look at the result of that and see if it's something they want to be seen by evil trucks.
Freeze: I'm sorry, but like skrebbel said where exacty would you have found this year's compo rules? They aren't up yet, and I should know -we're still working on that.

My guess is that you're following an old archive link to some oprhaned page, I'll peek into that. Just in case: The Dreamcast, other consoles, handhelds and other computing platforms are welcome in the democompo. There's nothing to fret about. :)

To be honest, I am VERY confused. I remember that I once saw a website which was about SE a few weeks ago, which was a bit empty of webdesign but had all information I needed. It said it will be on the first week of July, and the compo is limited to 10 MB demos only on Amiga / C64 / PC / Xbox / PS2.

And now I see that there a completly other website. And I got no vacation on this date. Fuck.
