What's the worst demo you have ever seen? Not including BITS
oof, so many to choose from...
the horse thing from demobit comes to mind, but that's rather recent, i'm sure there were much worse from the 90s.
a lot of the stuff from iso is so bad that turns around and becomes great, do those still count as bad demos?

ANDESA soft international was one of the first groups i remember checking multiple productions from and wondering why the hell do they keep doing more of them. but i guess nowdays they hold a certain naive charm to them, which will probably be destroyed if i ever try watching them again.

I think most of Spacepigs' œuvre qualifies here, with few exceptions.
there are no bad demos, just bad interpretations of demos.

What's the story behind The Party 2002? The entries from 2002 were so good that they killed The Party 2003?
wabe: the party had a series of organization problems on previous years, i think most of the organization team also left after 2001. demogroups who used to go decided not to attend in 2002 and without scene presence the compos were... lackluster compared to their former years. check some of the party reports written about the party 2001 on pain diskmag for the bigger picture.
I honestly can't even remember that there _was_ a The Party 2002.

Yep. Forgot about the winner demo, and was pretty sure Chimera was somewhere at top. Love this demo now.
