The Fearmoths show you "The Little Things" Credits: Original Concept and Poetry - Teat Demo Concept and Photography - Ultimate Gas Graphics and design - Shanethewolf & Ultimate Gas Music - Angelo Baldamenti, rearranged by Uncle Boose Coding - Memon/Moppi Productions Some words: We can be serious some times you know? The idea for this demo came to us when we were talking to Teat (Ryan Pursehouse)in the park over the weekend. He is a very smart guy and he always has a lot of deep thoughts about life. He was telling us that he doesn't have much material posessions because he likes to travel light. But what he takes with him he values very much because they hold a lot of personal meaning to him. One of the things he showed us was a cheap digital watch he takes everywhere with him. The strange thing is it doesn't even work. I said to him "Why do you keep it if it doesn't work? It's just an ugly digital watch. You can buy another one for a quid". He told me to stop being so shallow. He explained that when his parents divorced his mum and his little brother moved to New Zealand. His little brother bought him this watch before he left. He heard Ryan (Teat) complaining about not having a good watch so he went out and bought this for him. It was all he could afford and it stopped working after a week but it meant so much because it showed his brother was thinking about him. Teat hasn't seen his brother for 5 years but he carrys the watch everywhere. I told him he should write a poem about it and that's when the ideas started coming together. The poem said everything but Ultimate Gas really got really fired up and wanted to take some photographs and make it into a demo (we are always looking for new demo idea whatever we do). He borrowed a digital camera from our neighbour and him and Teat took some photos to go with the poem. Ultimate Gas wanted to take a picture of his computer and Teat said it was too shallow. But then Ulitmate Gas told him that his computer means a lot to him because it is where he makes all his ideas come to life, where he writes poetry and stories and he also said it is how he got to know me (Shane) and some of his best friends. So Teat had to agree in the end. When they got everything done they came to me and Uncle Boose and asked us to put it together. Uncle Boose said he knew the perfect track for it by Angelo Baldamenti but it was too short so he sat here and rearranged it so it would fit. He knows people will criticise us for ripping this but he said this tune means a lot to him because when he first heard it in a film it was when he failed his A-level exams and when the music started to play he started crying. It was a turning point for him because he knew at that moment his whole life would have to change direction. Why am I telling you this long story? Because I want you to see that this demo has a story and a lot of meaning behind it. Technically it has nothing to show and you can see we don't have coding, music or gfx skills. But if you look beyond the surface you will see a philosophy which all started with a cheap digital watch that doesn't even work.
