Dragon by Kosmic Free Music Foundation [web]
---------------------Dragon: Final Release (Jan 15. 96)--------------------- Requirements: VGA, a soundcard, 2 megs of RAM. I would recommend a pentium especially for the last part, or at least a 486/66. This little blurb is for those who unfamiliar with the internet and demo scene: First of all, GooRoo is an alias I use when I'm on IRC. People commonly think that if you have an alias, you must be related to pirating programs. This is not true. An alias makes it easy for people on IRC and people in the demo scene to remember who you are. If you go onto the #coders channel (efnet) you'll see about 20-30 people. There is no way you could remember everyone's real name, so use a unique alias. Those people who you talk to frequently will probably remember your first name. Secondly, read the demos.faq file to find out what the demo scene is all about. Note: You need to have a soundcard or this demo will not run. If you have a soundcard but don't hear anything, the autodetect routines from mikmod obviously didn't work and you won't be able to run the demo. Comments: --------- This demo was created for TP5 (The Party 95) but unfortunately it didn't get to Denmark because there was no internet connection at The Party. I decided to release it as a solo project instead of Kosmic because their standards are too high (which is odd since all their demo releases have been my works). Anyways I would like to say to the guys from Kosmic that I will not give in to your evil demo plans. Coders should design demos because the demo will actually get finished instead of being bogged down by impossible effects. This is my way of being creative, so if you don't like this demo, use your own skills and make something you like. :) Signed GooRoo Credits: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Khyron: Music GooRoo: Everything else :) Additional Credits: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sound System - MikMod by MikMak CauseWay Dos Extender - Michael Devore and John Wildsmith WGT 5.1 - Egerter Software Contact info: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- GooRoo: 75242.2411@compuserve.com egerter@wwdc.com Khyron: khyron@iglou.com Snail mail addresses are shown at the end of the demo.
