We finally managed to release the second issue of Insight.
'Second issue?.. <DUHH> what the heck?' you might say.. Well, you are right!
For those who never heard about insight#1, it surely does exist..
Go out there and check your local ftp-site! (somewhere at mags\1995\)
To bad we have to conclude that this is a major delayed issue ( a mere
24 months of delay ). Well, we hope you enjoy this magazine to the fullest!

─» Hardware «───
This magazine needs about 500kb base memory for Gus soundcards to work
properly, and a bit more if you don't use a Gus. The soundcards used
are the standard cards : Gus, Sb, Pas and WSS.
Please note: the magazine engine uses 640x480x15 bit (make sure your
vga-adapter is capable of displaying this. Univbe might help solve this)
Last minute note from Sarix:
ALWAYS run univbe (5.3 or greater) for some weird reasons it hangs-up my
machine as soon as I do mouse system call. I wasn't able to find the bug
in the messy code from the video/mouse/gfx/player system. :(
Troubles?
We know that insight.exe is not totally bugfree, but we didn't want to
wait till it was completely fixed, as insight has been delayed too long
allready.
We are aware that the music-tempo can go terribly wrong if you change
between the available scores. Results can be screwed up music, and
if you are lucky even hangups.. we are sorry about this, but midas
wouldn't listen to us.
If in some way you might encounter serious bugs, then you have a few
options...
(*) stop reading.. nah, you don't wanna do that he?
(*) read the Insight#2 magazine online at overflow.concepts.nl
(only reachable in holland/belgium/luxemburg)
(*) wait for the bugfix, which is due as soon as Sarix returns from
his holiday.. which should be around beginning of January
(*) ask a friend to save all articles to disk, and have fun with your
edit.com :)
