Meep by Digitize Design Group
──────── Meep ───────── Another no so state of art demo from DDG Was supposed to be released at Juhla Pii But was ultimately released at Abduction '96 ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── System Requirements: ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── a 486 computer with 5mb memory free Sound Support: Gus or NoSound Will run on 386, but hey it runs too slow on an sx-50 so don't bother :) ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Credits: ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Code Walker Nhawk Jsa Gfx Walker Madmac Dice / Doomsday Mazor / Paragon Music Wode / Paragon & Doomsday Pmode/w Tran XM player Cubic Team Some Video modes By Liket ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Release notes: ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Umm... Sorry... eh... This was really supposed to be released at Juhla Pii. And ultimately why this prod. is so so so ... well .. guess . late and smells bad, is that during the making of this demo there were used following things: 2 Dos-Extenders 3 Sound Systems 2 Different debuggers Too much time spend on experimenting No time spend to design ... And finally, we ARE glad to get rid of this ... It's your turn to suffer now :) ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Technical notes: ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── As some of you may remember from the showing at Abd '96 few parts did fuck up. We could not do anything to prevents this, since we tested this production several times during the party. Mostly on Wode's DX-100 with ET4000/W32 PCI. Reason for errors as we know it: the video projector changed between video modes very slowly. This is the first time, that i have encountered that kind of problem, and we could not do test the production with projector, so we didn't even suspect any problems with it. Or it's possible that video card on the compomachine didn't have understanding with our gfx modes... Demo runs flawlessly atleast with following chipsets or video cards: - S3 868 Vision PCI (Diamond Stealth 64 DRAM (or 2000 Video) - ET4000/W32 PCI ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Contact Addresses: ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Our Email addresses are: Jsa --------> jsavolai@ratol.fi Walker -----> a152215@proffa.cc.tut.fi Nhawk -----> ilkka.uuhiniemi@lut.fi Any guestions about us , feel free to email us. ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Wanted: ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Graphicians....
