Wow, looks really nice. I loved the colors, transition and the progression of this one. Great soundtrack, sits very well with the visuals. Must have been massive on the big screen. Closes the tab when finished btw.

what gargaj said. perhaps a bit too abstract for its own good and somehow feels like many of the scenes lack appropriate depth and scale implied by the context. beautifully composed nevertheless however. surprised this landed on the 2nd place, but i certainly won't complain.

Sublimely crafted. My favorite from the compo and from MFX in general.
While the visuals weren't very immersive on my machine, I did enjoy it quite a bit, as it combined events at various time frames (slow and fast) and sustained interest though a gentle tension. And since I said tension, I feel obligated to say it wasn't oppressive and instead felt nice, like a sunset

But after a while, the prod grew stronger, and it became apparent it was telling a story. What's more interesting, is that it's telling an abstract story, which is something that gave me pause and I will definitely think about.

A stunning experience. Made me feel like I was following some cosmic processes going on. At least in places it feels like there is a story going on but it feels mostly too abstract to grasp. The soundtrack is close enough to perfection but the visuals are good too.
Next time you want to blow my mind, please let me know before. I was not prepared. The music is absolutely majestic and stellar and the visuals are just stunning. +Wayfinder :D
This was an amazing prod. And in my opinion, it deserved to win!
Got goosebumps in the beginning. Carries on well thru the middle part, but for some reason I lose my interest in the end. I still like it a lot and needless to say it's beautiful both visually and aurally.

I dig the particle/flow effects, the music reminds me of Interstellar and fits perfectly. The whole experience worked best for me at the party, though. The rewatch value is somehow smaller, can't really tell why.

Nice timing with today's solar eclipse in Americas. However, online web version didn't run in Gecko based web browsers like Firefox and SeaMonkey so I had to watch on YouTube. :(

Great atmosphere! Felt reminded of the movie Sunshine (which is a good thing). Must have been perfect on the bigscreen.
What I love most about Uncle-X' style of demomaking and animation is that the feelings it evokes are often enough visceral, and this is no exception. The monumentality of it all, paired with yet another facet of Wayfinder's talent that most of us didn't know yet, does something to your body. And also that's a massive upgrade to Cables' particles as it seems :)

A particle study. I respect the fact that it keeps the same tone both technically and stylistically all the way to the end. Some of the exaggerated liquid movements feel almost hyper real. No interest to watch this again, though.

I wrote a long post, but deleted it because I think it came across too harsh. Anyway, this demo doesn't quite work for me, I think something went "wrong" in the color-processing that somehow makes it look both muddy and overly saturated at the same time.
By no means a bad demo, it's just that it tries to set up some strong atmosphere, but the rendering completely takes me out of it. Obviously other people feels differently, so I guess it's a "me"-problem.
There's some neat-looking effects in here, for sure.
