Fantastic demo. Design, graphics and music are so spot on. Even managed to pull of old game references in a way that didn't seem tacky or forced. Respect.

For me, by far the best direction. What a mood, great graphics, everything with passion and love. Could have won, but the massive coding fist from others were strong. At the end this one totally matched my feelings and thanks, now I know I'm not alone ;)

I found something deeper in this demo, the way I perceive life is described here quite accurately. I feel missing close friends that would share my values for all my life. Young ones are gone forever. Existing are so far, and people nearby have their own lives. This is never ending search. What a truthy and emotinal demo, thank you for that! <3

I like this more and more on each viewing, future classic for sure. Didn't even comment earlier on the story/message, which seems really heartfelt. I think this is now my 2nd favourite C64 demo behind Uncensored.
Magnificent, the game stuff was done really well. I find it sort of endearing that graying dudes in their 40s and 50s make C64 demos about friendship.

Bestest. So coherent and relatabled.
It seems the c64 scene collectively moved past their existential crisis at X and decided to just keep on rocking :D What a joy of a demo, coherent design, somewhat overwrought story, but presented in a very heartfelt way.

Excellent gfx and tunes (especially the end part Breaking the Law -version (Laxity?)) and some wise words. Great demo to watch over and over.
it tickles the right nerves, really enjoyed this one during the compo. insane amount of grapchical talent has been put into this one.

It's a bit corny at times but the consistent design and art direction, logical story progression, and smooth flow kept me engaged despite the overall length. Excellent work, by far my favourite demo of the few from X I've watched so far.

What Preacher said. While the disk 2 industrial-ish video and disk 3 point-and-click game movie were a kind of opposites, style wise, I admire the overall story and message of the demo. Also appreciated the callback to the intro screens toward the end.
I've been off of the scene now for nearly 40 years and have just seen my new favourite demo. Just amazing from start to finish and proof, again, that it takes more than just a mathgasm to make an amazing production.

everything about this demo is a craft close to magic - strictly elite level coding, painting, tracking, linking (come to think of it, especially linking, really)...
...except the "message", which unfortunately is at the very foundation of it - and i guess it works very well in a beer and nostalgia filled party-hall, but feels unconvincing at best afterwards.

Absolutely amazing what you did there! I love the story arc, the humor, the effects, the flow, the tech. Had me laughing, sighing and yelling "YES" at the screen, especially the SCUMM parts :D
Of course the story is a cheesy demo shaped Motivational Poster but you know what? Fuck that, it resonates with me! <3 In a world of doom and gloom I'm glad that happy end fairy tales exist - and in its over the top way this reminds me that it's still possible to channel my inner teen and go be wacky with friends.
