Nice patterns and I like the overall look, and there's a lot of variation milked from the concept. But as uncle-x and LJ point out, this could have been a lot more than the sum of its parts had there been more attention to movement/direction. Specifically, things could have moved a lot slower, and the variations could have been spaced out such that it didn't "blow its load" right at the beginning, so to speak. Anyways, it was enjoyable in the compo still :)
