I'm usually not a fan of these realistic rendered fractals - but this has kinda enough "structure" to it (the face, the crab..) to be interesting. Also what blackle said.

I've updated the zip. It contains a new version of the executables that fixes a minor visual glitch (that I bet any of you hadn't even noticed, but it bugged me…), and also fixes the 4K version which had a texture alignment issue that I missed because I couldn't even run it properly earlier. The archive finally now contains a 4K version of the image output as well. :)
In addition made this "wallpaper pack" version which includes only the above images, but also a special version of the 4K image that I color graded separately in other tools, just for fun, to make it even more appealing for wallpaper use. What everyone else said, basically. Of course you could say that fractals are a bit overused these days, but that only means there's extra skill and care involved in choosing and rendering them. And this delivers. Fully.

very meh. weird out-of-place fractals (i love true fractals in general tbh), and the water shader could be better, as it was in 0DAY Cove or International Shipping
love the variation in the water in particular. the fractal thing feels a bit generic (any other object occupying the same space would kinda work I guess)
