It's just C. And heavy use of the CEL (the 3DO hardware quad rasterizer, with all extra tricks for shading/blending, packed textures, palettized textures, feedback texture read from framebuffer, etc)
Really nice to see some activity on the 3DO! Great effects and music that would deserve a better design though :)
