This one was fun. :)
Surprisingly fun and was unfortunately not done justice by being played 1st in the compo. One of the more memorable entries by far with a uniquely Japanese “more is more” flair.

I love arcade shooters very much—though mainly for the bullet dodging which is completely absent here.
I'm also not sure how ethical it is to borrow this much content from another author.
But my main gripe with the demo is that it doesn't really tell or show anything that 2nd Stage Boss and Final Stage haven't already. And more importantly, those two were 4ks which had to work around a severe size limitation (and have done so wonderfully) while this demo had the luxury of unlimited content space and still failed to pack the punch of its predecessors. The only thing new in it are greetings which I don't think add any artistic value here; if anything, they dilute the pace. It's an empty retread of an existing work by somebody else, inferior to it in most aspects.
And that may explain the low rank.

what moozooh said, especially the direction. also the execution is way worse (0x4015 is too godlike at it though)

the competition is against 2nd stage boss and not against the other demos in the compo which naturally comes with the content. a fun to watch prod. not more not less. overall a weak thumbs up instead of piggie because of the nice music.
Go for gold next time!
