@frog: true, trees are similiar :D My needle tree distance function is not stochastic (it has clearly visible discontinuities in that case) - so all branches look exactly the same. I will show a proper close-up needle forest when I succeed computing a decent distance function! wait for it ;)
Great again - good work on that tree sdf! Took me a while to figure out why the reflection of the sun is wonky (it's not the sun, it's just a little island that looks like it :D)
