No, it's a KC 85/4, an earlier model with independent design. KC compact is the one that would be largely compatible with the Amstrad CPC.

Saw the project stages in February over on Slack but missed following due to IRL and the Cerveza Sickness bollocks screwing up everybody's timeline.
So much so that it got me completely off guard on Saturday and was the surprise of the evening \o/
Kudos to doc.K for pulling through and pushing the old baby further with each release as well as Hammerfist/DSR supporting with gfx and Maze seemingly nullifying the severe audio restrictions of this machine by pure will.

It comprises some fixes and tweaks. The earth image is "blitted" with mask now. :)))
