ah, had to run it realtime hoping the compression artefacts was deliberately done with a shader, but it's just noise that's indeed fucking up any video codec. so, a little bit disappointed :)

Feels bad, though. Past Racer from Revision 2019 had questionable direction and camerawork and a rather unremarkable soundtrack. Stuck is a clear improvement on every count and is actually quite excellent, with great music and a much stronger handle on cinematography. I love just about everything in it other than the fact that it occasionally zooms in on a puddle of noise. I hope the wet floor is retired at some point, too; I'm sure I've been looking at it since 2017.
I guess people are just tired of spheres on a plane™? Can't blame them for it, really. (Though it's odd that at the same time they still aren't tired of fractals...)

As I said above, I really like the progression, which feels like a short explanation, and the visuals get really cool near the end. Maybe it spent too much time on less interesting ones?
