This demo is actually 32b, not 128b. Just clarifying.

Of course it would be nice if the download link was functioning.

I'm terribly sorry. I didn't tripod would pull that. Here's a working link, thanks to avoozl.

incredible code power... not

but it's cool that the sources are included, a good read for 32/64/128/256b beginners

"but it's cool that the sources are included"
Disassembling a 32byte intro is sure a bitch, isn't it? No offence, but this is not really the stuff I would want to learn from. (Neither are Ryg's & KB's sources tho', but that's a different question :)
And it's unoptimal even.

Would you care to tell me where it could be optimized? Thanks in advance.

Didn't liked it, even for 32bytes..

gargaj: if you talk about x byte intros - this kind of source simply ISN'T nice.

if you talk about the recently released ms2000 invitation - be assured, our current code looks a lot different, that's 3 year old code mostly :)

*lol* gargaj... alright, that was nonsense...

eddi, your code is certainly tight. but the result is just so... underwhelming. my 64b C64 intro was dissed for the same reason, and rightfully so...

admittedly, it's next to impossible to do something interesting in 32b. let's see what 0a000h will bring on this front.

Below a certain limit, all hard'n'heavy size-coding becomes a silly joke, because the results can hardly called 'effects' anymore. It's just screen garbage.

Plus, the 32/64/256b-intro hype is already over. At the beginning it impressed people to see all sorts of tunnels and plasmas in 128b/256b intros, but then, people started to exaggerate a bit and tried to squeeze some effects in even fewer bytes. And it started to suck.

Time for something real again, I'd say. ;)

Quite an ordinary supertiny prod.

ohwell
This demo is actually ugly, not very ugly. Just clarifying.

releasing 32b stuff that all-of-a-sudden-looked-like-something is crap.

Ryg: of course i meant your x-byte intros.
