Erm, this is so extremly out-of-style, it could be easily a NE or RC demo. The textures are painful to look at, the camera movements are somewhat random or robotic(?) and everything but smooth, the music... you name it. Not to mention that it's quite slow, where it should not be.
stop! don't do it alone anymore... and add some splines...

FooLman : "complete lack of synchronisations" <- no, that's false, "lame music, ripped music" <- I wanted to do a demo using this music, and I've created what I wanted to, "senseless 3d scenes" <- You don't like the transitions ? (in the toilets...) "and not fitting textures" <- Yes, that's right, but look at the textures, hey are ugly, but with the lightsources, and shadows (true shadow), the scenes look not bad at all. For the camera movement, sure it's crap but it's easy to implement "courbe de béziers" (it was not my the first problem...), about the esc support, the demo is during along 3min and is speed enough (the last scene is used only to kill your eyes :)... Florent : "only 3d, pure rgb colours" <- Do you know how make a colored demo witheout rgb ??? (maybe a black and white demo, I'll try, sure :)

i said pure rgb, which means pure red 0xff0000, pure green 0x00ff00, pure blue 0x0000ff.. each time there is lighting in the demo you use one of those 3 colours.. which is ugly

it's better than no demo at all.
Get 2D&3D graphicians and get a musician, then learn how to make the camera move smoothly. There were some nice ideas that I liked, but after all it was just another 3D fly-by-player. I won't thumb down tho' because this pouet discussion is really entertaining!
skarab: here's a tip for ya, it's called splines. read, learn, get a graphician and a musician and stop jerking around pouet, you're only hurting yourself.

Skarab: You lost me there, the concept of being on the right or the wrong side has nothing todo with the earth (nor static metaballs. besides, the earth actually has a highly dynamic surface) You should think in terms of a line intersecting a hyperplane which divides the n-space in a "right" and a "wrong" side. Starting at the origin and traveling in the direction of "wrong" will never take you at the "right" side of the space.

This is like a really, really, _really_ bad tAAt demo, but way more horrible. (mostly due to the ripped music and the attitude of the maker. The 'pure'rgb colours don't help either.)

I fixed the download link so this masterpiece can be enjoyed again.
Ripping music sucks... Also a 3d flyby with a hellish green light is not my cup of tea...
The story: this is in this demo I firstly experienced dynamic lighting (no GL_LIGHT stuff in all my prods, just to state). The first scene is about games I played, the second one is realtime per-vertex lighting & shadows (raytraced/collision stuff done on cpu), the third one explains the "condition" I did this, the final is the music, I couldn't show what I wanted but I did my best... There is LOT of technical gliches in this prod, but there is a flow on ripped music (which was the startpoint I would say) so give it a look, please. Tx.
