sure, it's a "one effect" demo, but it works well enough for that. love the intricacy and the organic appeal of some of the patterns. I wonder what's coming next =)

Things I learned during the production of the music at UC8:
-the iPad makes for a great midi piano. Here's a damn fine way of getting midi and audio through USB: http://www.s-r-n.de/midile/
-Excessive automation editing in Ableton is a major pain in the ass. There's a lot of potential for improvement.

I'd like to see this reimagined as a dark ambient piece, but it's cool as it is. But also what gargaj said about the background.

At first view I thought awesome background, pretty nice choice. The music sounds extremely professional for this ?genre?. And the effect is nice, good choice of parameters, too.

Yep, no DirectX 12 in W7 so I had to watch it on YouTube. It was decent. :)
It's great to have a release after such a long time. Yes, it's 64 bit, DX12 on latest Windows10 Version only. No use doing anything else when starting from scratch.
Unfortunately the new demo system is far from finished. Did you notice the complete lack of post processing? Actually, the lack of anything but the one effect? Yes, that's all there is for now :-)

Without the music to give it away, I would have tipped this to be a 4k playing around with vertex shaders with no space for postprocessing. The movements and cameras are nice, though, and the music provides a fitting atmosphere.

Really like the music, and the reflection on the ribbons. Latter reminds me on old group logos somehow. The blue background is not my cup of beer, but after playing around and trying other colours myself - didn't find a better solution either. So, geil - endlich wieder Farbflausch <3

Real stylish and organic looking style, music complements it well. Some sort of background action/scenery might have worked well but I think the blue background suits it sometimes too.
the non-matching background color and over-all uninspired visual composition is a thumbs down but then rp came in like a wrecking ball and saved the prod with a song that worths TWO thumbs up so by the end of the day it's a thumbs up over-all.

It's too bad Microsoft uses everything it can to force everyone into their spyware, spontaneous-reset OS. That's just techno-politics. You shouldn't support that when writing a new engine. Now is a good time to write an engine for Vulkan instead.
