Unless your "retro" PC supports semi-recent versions of OpenGL and runs a supported version of Windows, don't bother.

Is it softrendered? I mean, it could in that resolution. I like a lot of the graphics and the scenes. Some retro-future feeling. The rotozoomer was smooth on me.

It does not run on PII-233/WIN98SE/DX61?, but it looks like it could be run on 68K? a PII-233 is lightyears faster than that :) just kidding :)
btw. gfx/pixelart and lights are really awesome!
btw. what are the "low-end" specs for this?
drzeissler: you'll need a dualcore processor for raytracing the frames (everything is raytraced) and an opengl driver for blitting the image to the screen.
thx, my fastet system beside the 27" imac is a P4/1,4Ghz.
Pandafox: this indicates an opengl error. i can get you a version without opengl but it will be horribly jittered (i use opengl for swap control).

Gargaj :) Actually I don't like it either, but you should at least get a decent PC for running demos, you know demoscene PC coders never optimize... 3.2 GHz?? runs 100+ FPS here, problem fixed ;)
Music is not cheesy enough, effects are trying to be pixeled but not doing them the same way, most scenes are not related to the typical megademo parts, etc. It's sort of how you'd make some starts in OpenGL back when and unimaginatively replicate sort-of the effects with the blitter and textures. Lame.
So the humor misses. But the lamery is a finished demo with no artifacts, and I presume it has pixeled graphics by Gizmo, which is rare enough these days. So that takes it north of sucks for me.
There should be more megademos! But they just fall flat on PC.

This is, 100% perfectly executed, exactly the demo that everyone wanted to make from the 80ies until the mid 90ies. It's wonderfully cheesy, very stylish and yet totally pointless. I love it!
