Back in 80s it was normal to have spech synth on ordinary 16k machine (via expansion card or loaded software). Now, 40 years later, we have same story in same limitation but with 60FPS scrolling background. OK

Very smooth integration of speech into an intro!
I know you credited it in the beamslide and in the nfo (which makes taking that shader okay), but still 95% of the visual content is not yours and that reduces the whole prod to a speech synth and some letters. Since it at least sounds better than the speech synths I've heard in 4k, here's a piggie. (Or is it one of the windows voice apis? I can't tell myself.)

cupe: i made extra sure credit is given where credit is due, including putting it on the beamslide so that there's no confusion. Technically speaking, the cc license on the site allows remixes and adaptations, so yeah, it does make it okay.
On the other hand, you're totally off the mark with the "reduces to a speech synth" remark, and considering you've read the beamslide, i wonder why you're trying to downplay it by implying possible windows api usage. It does have a multiband vocoder too, surprise.

Looks good and the synthesized speech is a lot of fun.
singing (vocoded) speech in 8k synth blew my mind. simple but great invitation, and even that it's 8k, it's still probably my favourite among all of invitations released at this Revision.
