Can't believe this wasn't on here yet. Absolutely brilliant 3rd gen tracker & one of the first to blur the line between trackers & DAWs. I made so much music with this, some of it was even good.

It was amazing and still is.
Tried this a couple of times. It seemed powerful, but it didn't suit my way of thinking about music back then. My bad, I guess.
it was awesome - but extremely unstable... meant a great deal to me between having to quit ft2 and taking up renoise.
weird this wasnt on pouet indeed.
i use it a lot.
i use it a lot.
Demoscene production? I think not...
Er, whut? Created by a member of a well-known group, released under the group's name into the community as a direct successor to Impulse Tracker & FT2, and many of the early plugin devs & users were prominent sceners too. If there's a way to make a tracker more scene-y I'd love to hear it.
Buzz... <3
@jmph: Ok, I was wrong. Sorry :)
One of my favorite live playing tools ever. Felt like the perfect extension of the modular synth concept to a digital synth platform. Still wish there would be something to replace this today. Sunvox is close :)
The first softsynth I ever used on a pc
Could never wrap my head around using it efficiently (or much at all in general) but certainly a capable tool.
I hate this thing :)
chaotic & unstable

Same! I was so stuck in FT2 and I saw my friends move to Buzz and use it to create excellent music and I just *couldn't* figure it out. Went from Psycle to Skale to Renoise instead.
But yeah, good memories of seeing people use it and goddamn it's nearly twenty years old!!!! I still consider it a new-skool tracker!
I never got hooked to it but here is the thumb anyway
okkie: i remember our sessions with bassie and jeenio at jeenio's place :D you guys taking turns watching wtf i was doing couz i was fucking around experimenting with effects instead of actually following up on your work and tracking down more elements or patterns :D
Written a few tunes with it. very powerful but buggy as HELL.
La la la... Simply the best :)
I'll just post this here again:
This daw is real charming and its since 2k times, my first choice daw... so rulez
Downloaded it long time ago but never finished a single tune with it unfortunately, iirc... Still, like many of the tunes and sounds created with it very much.
I made quite a few tunes with this around 2001/2 I think, it was buggy but the Dev lost his source on hdd failure, but now it's been remade and is a lot better!
Arguru was a great plugin Dev who sadly passed away in a car crash I believe. R.i.p dude.
Give it a go really, it's like a scene version of Reason.

I have great memories with that DAW! Made some remixes for VGMix.com back in 2003-04. Was very unstable back then, and when it crashed, it was likely to corrupt the whole file with it. But I found it more fun to play around, with filters and automation tracks, compared to other trackers.
I was very excited by Hunz' tunes made with Buzz
Had quite some fun with it back in the days!
Made some noise with it.
