I like the idea and visuals, but framerate makes it a piggy...

okay
Oh come on guys :-) In this resolution with nearly 800 objects it can not be better at this size. It's a slide show.

Btw in my office the core i5 PC with integrated VGA can run it even faster then compo machine did with a brutal nVidia card. And of course you should forget DOSbox this time.

Hmmm, the flipping version didn't run correctly on Řrřola's notebook.
There are only 3 colors, 10 digits, and 7 notes; its what we do with them that's important.

I've rewritten the code for better framerate and more thumbs :-) Now with some clipping speedup... download it again!
I thought about this way too long ^^

...and felt like stupid for performance optimizing my own entry (800 x 600 , should run @70 FPS) and therefor leaving out content which is just not doable in these high resolutions, like, you know, raycasting. Then i saw this thing, settled in the uncanny and uncomfortable part of "procedural graphic -vs- slideshow" valley. WTF? Why even try it when it is not possible to run anyway, not now and not on computers 10 years from now?

But then - later - i thought, "how would this be, if it's marked as procedural graphics", and the answer is, i'd like it =) I would appreciate that another person besides myself is pushing high resolution approaches, and going even one step further, with a high color mode.

So i will simply judge this as "procedural graphic, with fresh approaches" and give it a thumb ;)

Nagyon jó, hogy visszatértél, ugyanazzal a lelkesedéssel, mint ami 15 éve volt jellemző.

First time not piggy from HellMood :-)

Good definition. Thank you Helmut. I like it.

The first 37 frames only an effect with many color variations
before the last frame with the INT 16h which is the procedural image.
csak igy tovabb! :)

Ehrm, for what it is it sucks!
The Youtube is a joke aswell...it shows like 10 frames!
Only thing that saves this from a thumbDown is the resolution and its size ofcoz!
How this ended up 2nd is a mystery to me completely, i must be missing a fact i am overlooking or sth!
the "joke" video has been deleted, and a new one has been uploaded :)
I find it awesome !
slow but good
