White flashing won't hide the fact that 1. it's generic as hell and 2. you ran out of ideas halfway. It just makes it more irritating to watch.

I can forgive the teal & orange colorscheme here because it fits the scene so well but the flashing is just annoying. Good work on the geometry though, it's really interesting.
Precisely what cce said, and also gargaj. Also the discontinuity artifacts bothered me espec. as I didn't see anything that should've broken the distance bound.
Disclaimer: I'm just back from the party and only managed to get 2 hours of sleep over the whole party period, so... maybe I'm a little bit sensitive right now :)

Just to give you some context:
This is a party prod that I did while pulling an all-nighter, the sync and scene setup was done right before the deadline over the course of a mere 47 minutes(without beeing able to hear the music using only timecodes) in front of the toilet rooms without a table, as it seems to be the only place where people stfu and I was able concentrate after beeing awake for 36 hours with quite some boozing in the middle of it.
The white flashing was for debug purposes(remember I couldnt hear the music while syncing) and during the last few minutes before the deadline(the real deadline, not the scheduled one) I forgot about removing it in favor of getting this thing to be below 4k.
During the same time period I worked on the 8k party prod with xTr1m and live coded a pretty kick ass music viz shader during dojos 2-3 hours set, so give me a break alright?
I wish I had had the time to do some proper syncing and scenes, but this is how it went.

LJ there is NOTHING to justify yourself for.. I truely loved that production and the entire audience obviously did so aswell!! Kudos to Virgill for kick-ass "on the fly" music aswell..

Ignoring the massive flash, this is pretty nice.

And I definitely understand the frustration with working very hard for the entire party to finish something only to have it bashed around a bit on pouet; this is something I've done countless times before, and I've also been sensitive about it and it doesn't feel great. But I think you'll find that the prods that last and that people love are the ones where the authors put in the proper hours _before the party even began_, and you have to remember on pouet that's what you're being judged against. You can't really expect people to be a bit easier on the prod just because it was a partyprod (even though it's very easy to be hopeful that people will be :) ).
That said, looks like this was your first party release, and it won! Congrats, that's fucking awesome! Now all you have to do is harness the criticism as energy to put into your future productions. This is very promising, and it looks like you have a very helpful team of talented people around you to get you there. Looking forward to your stuff in the future :)

This is nice, but I dont the same wow factor I got some years ago when ray marching was something new.
as a screenshot it looks epic, in motion not so :)
I like the modeling, sold by the lighting / coloring stylization :) I don't like cameras just stopping halfway through, but looking all the party-prodding madness I guess that's more than excused... Please do a final though!

final is in the works, probably this weekend.
Crystalic look makes a refreshing difference for me. Progress is nice, just the end part felt like too much of the same for too long time. Really liked the "percussion" in the music.
Again, watching the same ray-marching artifacts over and over again is no fun. Otherwise, I thumb up, because of the interesting crystal-look concept and motivational thumb for the final !

Not much to say that hasn't already been said: 1) flashing on every beat = ouch, and 2) the second half of the intro is just.. nothing really.
Some constructive criticism though: there are two places where the camera moves at a path and then it just randomly stops before you cut to another scene, which I think you should try to avoid in the future as it breaks the flow. But, partyprod, I can relate. :)

Wollen wir mal die Kirche im Dorf lassen, but: damn, that was awesome considering it was a) partymade and b) a firstie. I saw it develop since Friday evening and man, you have serious skills (and I'm not referring to the obviously cool music this time ;) )

It's hard to get a good perspective on things when you're working on something and you've not slept and the deadline is looming. It's even harder to say "this is great but it isn't ready yet, it deserves more work" but I think that should have been the case here

partycode, music, firstie. no reason not to thumb. the genericness (genericity?) hurts a bit - but seriously, getting that kind of feedback on a firstie just means you're already there.
