So who said the Archie couldn't display differential scrollings, at 50 frames per second ?
Ahhh always the same people : some of the dumbest Amiga fanboys who know nothing about the Archimedes but spit on this fabulous range of computers on every occasion when debating the differences between the Amiga and the Archie !

Read the text : it's 50 fps even if you've got an Archie with an old MEMC (A310, A420 and A440), when everybody upgraded to a MEMC1a chip, making the Archies run about 10% faster, when Acorn made this new chip available as an upgrade (easy to fit as the MEMC is socketed, not soldered on the motherboard).

From 1989, all Archies had a MEMC1a fitted, starting with the A3000 ...

Sorry if the quality isn't great, I use a webcam to capture my A3000 connected to a TV set.

This is far from what the Archie base model (ie running at 8 Mhz) can really do : you'll witness this year 2015 what this machine really has in its guts : much, much more power than demonstrated here ;-)
Not sure if joking, or bitter about the Amiga being more commercially successful than the Archie (if genuinely the latter, dude its 2015, everybody lost to the PC in the long run).

Almost platform insta-thumbed, but I want to see it first. Speaking of which...

See the youtube link ;-)
IIRC it was constant praising of Acorn (in terms of capabilities) in finnish computer magazines of late 80's/1990 of Acorn Archimedes vs. Amiga and because of one infamous journalist Amiga was always bashed from Atari camp too ;)

So, i dunno what's behind this "dumbest Amiga fanboys" thing but at least it never was a global conspiracy.

Isn't this just called "PowerDemo" rather than the absolutely ridiculous title you provided here? Group seems to be "ArcAngels".

Also, it's not 1989 anymore, you can drop the attitude. Platform wars are dumb.

Title, group and release date fixed, but judging from this page, the download link is for this instead. You, sir, suck at submitting productions to Pouet.

Pretty average SOTB inspired prod.
And still below the Amiga standards.

What Britelite and AlienTech said.

I'm Zarchos and I never uploaded anything to Pouet to this day.
Archieforever was my pseudo on French forum Gamopat, and it appears sbdy decided to create this pseudo on Pouet for some stupid reasons.
I'm asking Pouet now to remove this.
If you don't read the thread 'Archimedes vs Amiga war' on Gamopat, you can't really understand the situation (and it was several years ago).

That's because you keep shitting on the Archimedes and the Acorn machines everywhere you can, Touko or Dr Silver whatever dumbass hides behind this Archiforever pseudo.
I propose you comment this : it is still WIP and no way the stock Amiga 500 or the stock 1200 can produce the same.
